Improver Ski Lessons

We offer a range of improver courses to suit all needs. To ensure you get maximum benefit your performance will be assessed on the first lesson and you may be assigned to a course more appropriate to your ability. All course fees include all necessary equipment including compulsory helmets. You will need to wear long trousers, long sleeved top, long socks and bring a pair of gloves All Courses are staffed by qualified instructors

Improve Snow plough

 Can ski using linked plough turns from the top of the main slope To ski in a narrow plough and understand the use of turn shape to control speed

Introduction to parallel

Can ski from the top of the main slope with a narrow plough

(Approx 1 Week on snow)

 To have skis parallel for at least part of the turn. Have control of speed over various turn shapes

Improving parallel

 Skis are parallel for most of the turn. Can vary turn shape, speed. And can show some rhythm. To develop use of edges, steering and lateral balance

Waves, Moguls and Fun-Park for the terrified

 Ski’s are parallel for most of the turn Gentle introductory session

The above program may be modified according to demand, please check with reception. All Lessons must be booked and paid for in advance over the telephone.  Payment can be made in person at the club or by Credit/debit card over the phone. No refunds for cancellation will be given.
